The Lawyer Maja Kolbezen graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Ljubljana in 2004. She began her Apprenticeship at the Administrative Unit Črnomelj at the Department for Environment and Space, Agriculture and Economy, passed the State Examination in Public Administration and the professional examination in Administrative Procedure. Since November 2004 she has been a Court Apprentice at the District Court in Maribor and then at the District Court in Novo mesto. Since March 2007 she has been working in the Municipality of Šentjernej as a Senior Adviser II in the Service for legal, general and financial matters. She passed the State Judicial Examination in January 2007. On 14.5.2009 she began working in the law firm Škerlj, o.p., d.o.o. and is in charge of the fields of Property Law, Contract Law, Public Procurement Law, Administrative Procedure and Administrative Disputes.
With her acquired experience she works in and covers the following legal fields:
- Law of Property
- Contract Law
- Administrative Law and Administrative Disputes
- Public Procurement Law
- if necessary, the fields of Family Law and the Law of Succession
She uses the Slovene, Croatian, Serbian, English and German languages in her work.
She accepts clients with prior agreement and every Wednesday from 8.00 to 13.00 and from 15.00 to 18.00 and, with prior agreement, also outside these hours.
