Constitutional law

The law firm provides legal counsel and representation to natural persons and legal entities in the following proceedings:

  • lodging requests or initiatives to test the constitutionality or lawfulness of regulations and general acts issued for the exercise of public authority,
  • lodging constitutional appeals stemming from the violation of human rights and fundamental freedoms.

Constitutional appeals may be lodged only after all channels of appeal have been exhausted. They shall be lodged within 60 days of delivery of the individual act against which such an appeal may be lodged. In particularly substantiated cases, the Constitutional Court may decide on the appeal in question lodged following the expiry of the above-mentioned period. Before all appeals for extraordinary judicial reviews have been exhausted, the Constitutional Court may decide on the appeal in question if the alleged violation is of a manifest nature and the violation of the individual law would result in irreparable repercussions for the appellant.
