Borut Škerlj

Attorney-at-Law Borut Škerlj graduated from the Novo Mesto Grammar School and the Faculty of Law at the University of Ljubljana at the Chair of Criminal Law with his Bachelor thesis entitled “Liability for Severe Repercussions”. He started his traineeship with Attorney-at-Law Anton Škerlj and continued it at the then Basic Court of Novo Mesto, returning back to Anton Škerlj after passing his bar exam. On 28 October 1988, he became a freelance lawyer and has been continuously working for our law firm and the Bar Association of Slovenia. He has published several papers and occasionally acts as a lecturer at meetings with his colleagues and at trainings.

Experience acquired enables him to cover the following areas of law:

  • European law.

He uses Slovenian, Croatian, Serbian and English at work.

Clients are received by appointment and on Wednesdays from 8 AM to 1 PM and from 3 to 6 PM.
